I am selling a BMW MoDiC II diagnostic computer, but I have none of the software for it. I also have another MoDiC II that has only the diagnostic/fault reading/clearing software in it, but it is installed for all models the MoDiC II works with (later E30 with round 24 pin connector, E32, E34, E36, E38, maybe more, but those are the ones I remember for sure).
I do not exactly know what to ask for them, but I am trying to save money to go to UTI. I am doing very good BMW Technician work at my dealer for carwash pay, and without that little piece of paper that says "I am all that and a bag of chips", I am getting nowhere, despite my skills.
Basically, if yall are interested, just toss offers at me. I realize that they are not the newest, latest, or even wireless thing out there, but they work, they work well, they are official BMW equipment, and they read EVERY fault code there is. I do not have the docking station for either, but the diagnostic one works as it is, just plug it into the car and it is powered by it. If you have found a docking station and/or software somewhere else, then that would be even better.
I know where to get the software, but you will need the appropriate docking station to install it to the MoDiC II. I have heard rumors of a program available which turns any Winblows PC into a docking station, and am looking into that right now, but for safety's sake, I would probably not pay heed to them until you know for sure.
