Miles are high? The national average now is considered to be 12 - 15k per year, he has averaged 1100 per year, and if you consider the 06's are almost out he has averaged 10k per year, that ain't high!

Thank you big daddy, finally someone who sees where I'm coming from. Yes there are M3's with less miles but none look like mine. And being that the car's avg is approx 11,000 or maybe even less is great. I always tell people to look at their mileage and divide it by how old their car is and tell me. A lot of them come out saying wow, you avg less than I do. My car is in pristine shape. I will take $13,000 for the car if any of you are interested, Im dropping it because some of you might be more interested in a 1k drop.

If you place a photo with an image hoster, like photobucket.com, than using the advanced button below you can add an image. Copy the image url at photobucket and than click on the insert image button in the advanced box, paste the image url there and click it. Should load right up. We would really like to see some pics!

I'm in no position of asking but whats up with the "cold air intake"? How is that cold air in the engine bay?
You are VERY VERY VERY right...You have NO position to be asking at all. Do some research Dre before you turn this thread into a pointing and ridicule one, which I'm not having it! Ill save you some time: http://www.racdyn-usa.com/Merchant2...oduct_Code=142.52.36.108&Category_Code=e36tun
I dunno, maybe Racing Dynamics doesn't know what they are talking about either. You should give them a call and tell them you are an expert and tell them why this is not "cold air" thanks for your .02, have a nice day!!!

Whoa easy now, yes that is a cold air intake, however it is breathing air from inside the hood area...very hot air. Most CAI's offer a carbon fiber heat shield and that is what he is referring to. Without that shield you defeat the purpose of a CAI.

hey manny..steve here..sent you an e-mail..i was comparing some available m3's on milleage..take no offense..the car looks terrific! If I didn't have to do about 30K in repairs to my home,I would really be thinking of your wheels..the flood happened after I had contacted you about the car. Believe me, I feel bad about not being able to buy right now...

Hey Nny, the site you posted a link to shows a cold air intake, a proper one too. It is shielded from the engine bay and is taking air from outside the engine bay, to be more precise, from the front of the car. Yours on the other hand is not. I do not see a shiled and I do not see anything from the front of the car leading up to the filter. Good luck with selling the car and hope it all goes well for you, no pun intended.

Thank you and I'm done with the CAI talk. I don't want my thread to be about that. If you noticed it said "F/S" not "put your .02 in" I already said I was being sarcastic. Please just post if you are interested, thanks guys

ok, glad we could settle it all. I must say that your car looks pretty clean and you know I wish I had the money to get it. :}
