Hello people. I have a 1984 318i that I think I want to get rid of soon. I'm looking to buy a car a few years newer. The main reason I want to get rid of it is because some one hit (hit and run!) my drivers door and rear 1/4 panel and the body shop says it will cost $420 to fix it. It has 200k on it and it has started every single time I got in it. Motor runs strong and oil / all fluids have been changed as specified in manual. I get VERY good gas milage with this engine! Sunroor & spoiler, front air-dam, A/C, a heater that works great, new guages (th' whole cluster), new console peices (other than the dash that has a crack in it from the sun),... and I've taken care of it. Acceleration is great, and it handles well on the highway.
It has 5 matching OEM wheels 2 BRAND new snow tires (mounted on rear) and 2 NEW all wearther mounted on the front. It just passed MARYLAND inspection after I replaced the exhaust, breaks, wipers, tail lights, and 2 front lights.
Take it easy.
