Hmmmm.... that is SO tempting.
Considering you still have it in Jan/Feb, i will swing by to look. I should be around in Waukesha then. Youll have to take me for a ride in the NSX [;)]

Whoever buys the car can definitely get a free ride in the NSX. Hell, who knows . . . [;)]

I just remembered the Bimms has a custom $45 sunshade for the front windshield that has been used two or three times. Not a major accessory, but nice to have in the trunk with a black car.

Also, a nice bavarian autosport aluminum shift knob, which you can view by going to www.bavauto.com and looking for part #GSA5.

This car sounds incredible and is a hell of a driver. It is more fun to drive than my new TL. It is not as comfortable or fast or full of gadgetry and luxury, but in terms of the pure drive I would much rather take a drive in the country in the BMW. But I take those drives in the NSX now, so you see my dilemma with keeping the BMW. I no longer need as much of those qualities in my year-round daily driver.

The tri-flow's deep bass rumbles along, with a lovely downshift or lift of the throttle only a few motions away. It rattles over the potholed midwest with its tight suspension, but is smooth nonetheless. It hauls decent ass on a road course and on the street. It is a mid six second to sixty, 15 second flat quarter mile car by my 'expert' opinion.

The OZs and Yokos kick serious ass. They aren't as good as SO3s or other $250 a piece tires, but most people won't take the car to the limit to know the difference. I did one driving school a while back on those tires (you'd never know it) and they still look great.

I am really going to miss this car. It is getting older and will cost some maintenance down the road to be sure, but it is a solid machine that will run for a very long time if taken care of. You can expect $50-100 a month (average) in repair bills as long as you run it. But that is the reality of running a ten year old car that cost the equivalent of at least $40k in today's dollars. You need to factor that into the purchase price, along with insurance and everything else.

If I came into some extra money, I would probably still sell the car. But only because my heart is set on an M car (an older M3/M5/M6) and I will never be happy with anything else BMW until then. I don't need it right now, but in a few years I shall return to the blau mit weisse.
