Engine Transmission

The standard engine to the 2004 BMW 7 series is a 4.4 liter V8 model that produces power up to 325 hp at an angular speed of 6100 rpm and torque of 330 lb ft at 3600 rpm, while it also offers 6.0 liter V12 engine as optional that can deliver up to 438 hp at 6000 rpm and 444 lb ft of torque at 3950 rpm.

The only transmission available to both the engines is a 6-speed automatic. With the V8 engine the luxury sports car can achieve fuel economy of 18 mpg in the city streets and 26 mpg on the highway roads and with the V12 engine it can achieve 15 and 23 mpg.

New features for 2004

Satellite radio is the new feature offered as optional for the 2004 BMW 7 series version. The models in the 2004 BMW 7series lineup include 760Li, 745Li and 745i. All the L series models has 5.5 inch longer wheel base than the other versions. All the versions are featured with the standard safety and luxury amenities needed for a sports car.
